
Opps develops and implements training solutions for organisations.
We provide accredited training to individuals working across specific vocational sectors: e.g. Business and Finance, Health and Social Care and Housing. We also deliver generic NVQ’s to all vocational sectors - for example Customer Service; Leadership and Management; Food Processing and Business Improvement Techniques. We offer both NVQs and Modern Apprenticeships.
We train and coach leaders, managers and supervisors on subjects such as management techniques, business strategy, effective communication and team leading.
We work with organisations to gain recognition and accreditation for their in-house courses.
We combine the rigour of pedagogical methodology with in-depth practical experience of the areas in which we train and consult. Our expectations of participants are high.
Workshop delivery, development of skills based portfolios, facilitation of management meetings, one to one coaching, e.support via web-based materials, peer group learning and other methods are all fully exploited to ensure that participants can meet their full potential and gain practical knowledge that can be applied to their businesses.
Our "Action on Inclusion" programme which enabled the creation of action plans online related to Equality and Diversity legislation such as the Race Relations Act won a prize in 2007 from the East of England Development Agency and Government Office for the East of England for "Innovative Use of ICT". As a result of this success we developed our Equality and Diversity Programme which supports participants in achieving a Level 2 qualification.
